I'm a huge Thomas Dolby fan too. However, I don't entirely agree with what your saying. Theres still some great new bands and song writers out there, you just need to know where to look to find them. I'm 41 and although I listen to a lot of older music, I still find a lot of great new music that I love. If you want something new to try - have a listen to The Sleepy Jackson (a band from Perth Australia). Try either albums 'Lovers' or 'Personality'. Just brilliant!!

I sincerely hope that that 1920x1037 resolution was a joke. The imperfections of 1920x1080p are already visible on 70" HDTVs, can you imagine how low-rez it will look on a screen that large? The pixels will be the size of building-blocks. Digital Cinema 4K (4096x2160p) should be the bottom-of-the-barrel standard for implementing digital HD technology in our cinemas, otherwise real 35mm and 70mm film looks vastly superior.

I have always loved this song ever since it first came out. I just now stumbled on it here, I've never seen the video before now. Other than misprouncing "Opelousas", calling the bayous "Everglades" and being no such thing as a "county" sheriff in Louisiana, he did a great job capturing the Atchafayala Louisiana mystique. (The critism was good natured by the way). Great song!

I haven't heard this song in a long time. Haunting and beautiful. The director of this video did an excellent job capturing the essence of the South. I laughed when Thomas sang about driving a dirty Datsun- they went out of business a long time ago!
