I SAID IT SOUNDS OK! I wasn't attacking anyone, just my opinion, my personal assessment of a ceremony-cover that's all! I watched the video and made a comment. I like Radiohead. but maybe I don't like this cover as much as you do. And if I choose to draw contrasts between originals or anything else in life is subjective to my individual experience and choice. Others may agree with me, you obviously don't. And that's fine. But how else would you expect life to be kept interesting........TA!

there is good music today. there is radiohead, the best band ever. THere are a couple of others, lol. You just have to get satellite radio, but yeah the normal radio is buttfucked ass. The whole point i was making is that there are hundreds of modern underground indie bands that if you look hard enough you will find are incredibly innovative and so good, and there are even popular bands that are also good. Is this from the ONE and only live performance of this song??? i have a different practice session one on the "Heart and Soul" collection but this sounds way better! and let me say i am 20 years old and a testiment that not all the youth today is caught up in the garbage out today...in fact in general today is dead to me..trance is the way to go...but this..this is absolutely beautiful to hear and a classic...it does remind me of my ex toom uch though.....

I liked seeing Radiohead cover this and the Smiths song. The Smiths albums and singles have always been and still are on regular rotation for me because I like the songs and they are still good. If my band wanted to cover their songs I would be happy to play and sing songs that I have always liked at full volume having a good time. I think that is what Radiohead was doing, paying tribute, and they did it well. Being snobby about it is missing the point.

closer is probably the most sad thing i ever heard in my life. Literrally you can hear the decent. Its easy to say now in hindsight that you could see it coming. But if you take the lyrics and see them in print. Its amazing. I never seen pain articulated so wonderfully. Maybe im talkin shit who knows. Also im sorry to say to some NME writers unknown pleasures doesnt compare to closer. Even listening to joy divisions ceremony makes you realised they would of headed for greatness even if ian lived

I really can't believe what I have read on this page, it is most upsetting to think there are people out there who don't realise they are the same band and there music is equally as significant no matter if it's attributed to Joy Division OR New Order. OK, the only and the one that is awsome of that olympic wuz Mish and his anime or cartoon. The opening ceremony was extremely scary, look at 00:10 they just make his president like his brother and father and look also 00:18 (thats an olympic game?), and now hear at 2:27 the music wuz really scary. Position really doesn't matter. Its the frame of mind and the belief in what is being done that matters. If the persons own mind does not accept what is really going on then nothing can ever happen for them. The powers lie within the shaman to heal, and the believer to accept the help. If either are not 100% in their believes, then it all fails. Its hard for any shaman to gain 100% acceptance from persons any more in our current society of doubt, fear, and mistrust.

This is Radioheads version, it isnt Ian Curtis singing from Joy Division, so why fucking argue? Im a huge JD fan, but Ian died and this cover is no mockery, its full of feel and life, I love listening to this!
