Final Fantasy games have random battles. Meaning when you walk a battle will initiate. Then there will be realtime or turn combat depending on which game it is. With Kotor there are enemies all around the map which you will have to kill. Watch some videos about Kotor if you want information.

More or less like a mixture. But Final Fantasy is real time and doesn't have random battles like Final Fantasy does

Soldiers dont need persuasion only Scoundrels have the ability to persuade... Soldiers only need strength and treat injury to begin with, they're fighters not thinkers... oh i forgot to add Soldiers need awareness too.

also if u jedi knight/solider u get more feats then force points, more force points if u a consul/scoundrel, and more skills if u sentinel/scout

and dont lvl up when u go to taris never lvl up until u get to dantoonie its hard but you get mire force powers in the end, really hard turn the mode to easy until u get to dantoone, max strength if jedi knigh, if u want to be pure kick ass guy, or alot of widom for, consi, if u a consular, not sure what to do if a sentinel their preety balance oh yeah

i try to make pure characters such as pure jedi knights, start with solder and stuff get all physical moves and such, jedi consular should be a scoundrel,jedi sentinel should be a scout

lol i love kotor, but usually for me i just press the recoommend button on the skills part, it always does treat injury if your a soldier , im just about to face Malak again and got around 28-30 treat injury points

it will probably work however a geforce 5200 isnt that good and also a athlon isnt good you should look to upgrade this severly if you want to play high spec games

Also my favourite starting class is a Scout. A Scout-Consular is the best combination for me. Pretty skillful and very good force user. A Scoundrel is totally rubbish in my opinion. If someone can defend a scoundrel please do because apart from sneak attack which isnt that good anyway I cant see the point of a scoundrel. I think a Scout is the easiest to use because of all their skills which helps a lot at the beginning of the game and they also have very good implant bonus feats and good saves.

This is a proper Soldier: Strength - 16 (high lightsaber attack, damage) Dex - 14 (decent defense and reflex) Con - 10 (10 vp a level is enough) Int - 8 (soldier skills are crap) Wis - 14 (decent force powers, Will save) Cha - 14 (decent force powers, Persuade) Add all remaining points into strength. Double weapon, Implant and Toughness feats all 3rd tier. Master Speed only major force power. Although offensive dark side powers should be taken for dark siders. Excellent soldier build.

I disagree with parts of this video. A soldier has such poor skill levels that by adding points into Intelligence barely gains any benefits. You are wasting points by adding points into Intelligence. Also 14 Constitution is unnecessarily high for a Soldier. Soldiers gain 10 vitality points a level, higher then both Scouts and Scoundrels. Any more then 10 vitality points a level would be overkill as health rarely gets low. INT at 8 and Con at 10 is all thats needed for a Soldier.

Great Video i have played the game just as much only thing i do differently is i put more charisma and full persuade the whole time. I might try your way and see how it goes!
