no, it wasnt because the joker was on his mind. alot of people get insomnia. and it wasnt an OVERDOSE on sleeping pills. he was on a few other medications at the time, (stress relievers and such) and it was the deadly combination of these drugs that took an amazing actor away from us.

I can't help but think how wrong it would be to try to top Heath Ledger's Joker. Watch Dark Knight then any of his other films and try to find any similarities. He got SOO deep into this role. He needs a post-mortem Oscar for it.
