After you listen to Leanne sing "Unchained Melody," "How Do I Live," and "It Feels Like Home," the first two are on youtube, and download "It Feels Like Home," If you must, but LISTEN and you will hear the soulful qualities that's common on "Quiet Storm" R/B but kind of rare in country music in Leanne Rimes voice.

this is one of the first songs i used to sing, on my kareoke in my room when i was like 6, and my mom was coming up the stairs and i didn't know and she scared the hell out of me LOL. i love this song :) and i love singing it too

Leanne Rimes...comparable to Whitney Houston...Mariah Carey..Anita Baker!!!? PLEASE! What are you thinking!? She's nowhere near any of those great and unmistakeable voices, in quality, power, richness or range. Seriously. She's ok, yeah, more technically able than Trisha, but Whitney...Anita..Come on!

A good movie SHOULD have the BEST songs and the BEST singers on the soundtrack, and Leanne Rimes is CLEARLY a better vocalist than Trisha Yearwood is!I think the makers of this movie shortchanged the movie watchers by using Trisha's version of "How Do I Live" over Leanne's version!

I gotta weigh in here. While I agree that Leeanne's voice is quite strong and soulful, it wasn't at the time this movie and song was made. The reason I feel that Trisha's version was MUCH MUCH better suited for the song and the movie is because Leeanne still sounded like a little girl singing a grown up song. This is truly a grown up song and both her age and her voice had not grown enough to do the song justice like Trisha was able to do.

Sorry, but compared to Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Al Green, Teddy Pendergrass, Anita Baker or Aretha Franklin, Trisha Yearwood's voice CANNOT compete! However, Leanne Rimes' voice DOES compare well with these legiondary soulful singers! Leanne Rimes is one of the FEW country singers with a POWERFUL, soulful voice like the folks I mentioned! That's why many of us rightfully think the Con Air folks were NOT thinking! Look at the sales of Leanne's version versus Trisha's version, and see!
