Jtaylor1 - Some viruses will infect the system32 folder and add new files and dll's, most antivirus programs will remove these as their definitions recognise the fake versions.

llamacookiematt - No...10 hours is way too long. AVG has many inherent problems, one of which is the longer it is on a computer the longer it takes to scan! Personally I use Avast...details in my videos or on my blog.
