my vista is 1/3 the price.. 3 times the hardrive but maybe half the battery life... and twice as fat... but i wud rather stickk to my vista ..then that..i mean its cool cuz its thin.. but give me a break..1800$..?? thats fuckin up i have an itouch and i think thats way too over priced as well but wat can ya do.. except touch it ..:]

the 1.8 hard drives are quite reliable... the problem was people would drop their ipods and since it doesn't have a motion sensor like the macbooks, they could crash. not so on the macbook air. problem solved.

yes, bluray kinda died on the vine, the old fashioned "spinning wheel" no longer makes technical sense. that's why apple will probably never support it.

Jobs screwed up in claiming the 1.8" ipod harddrives were great and reliable....because ipod hard drives have been well documented to have a higher failure rate than industry standards or other HD mp3 players.

ah, if you notice, it's called MacBook "Air" not "Cable", because it's fully wireless. So movies, printing, music, cameras, etc is now WIRELESS and does not require old fashioned devices like DVDs, or USB cables. So please learn how a product works before you make a fool of yourself. It's a great product, but it's too advanced for you to understand at the moment.
