Using an IR led array and some reflective tape, you can track fingers in thin air using the Wii Remote by Johnny Chung Lee, Carnegie Mellon University. this doesnt use the wii... It does use a wiimote though... You could get away with an IR camera but you'd have to source that and somehow get it to work properly...

If you hate computers, why did you go for a carear in information technology? Also, I noticed that you showed how to remotely connect to a computer... that's in the person's local network. Typing 192.168.1.7 for the IP address at your workplace will not work, considering that the 192.169.. relates only to the local network.

Who cares, the Wii is overrated and boring. :/ Say all you want, it's only good for those people who like games, but not that much and little kids. this is NOT a good way to play world of warcraft. using the Wii remote makes your clicking clumsy and inaccurate. first off, you are not supposed to click any spells at all. to accomplish fast reflexes and perfect timing you have to hot key. there is no way to point your mouse at the right spell fast enough to achieve maximum "skill" while playing WoW. secondly any pvp (or even pve) you do will be mediocre b/c your reaction time will be slower than everyone else. not worth it. sorry.

If you have ever tried controlling an rc jet with an onboard camera on a simulator, its not nearly as easy as it seems. I agree it would be cool to see the view, but wouldn't recommend flying from it.

Being skeptical just means asking for evidence - it's easy to dismiss skeptical thinking as just being 'negative' or closed minded, but in truth it's an enquiring way of looking at the world. You're missing the point. Vague memories can be useful - the police can follow up potential leads as you say. But sketches drawn by "remote viewers" are meaningless unless interpreted in terms of what was being "remote viewed" (a cluster of galaxies in the example given in the video). So, given a bunch of squiggles, circles, blocks, odd text, how will a police team interpret this as "hey! the kidnapped girl is in a red barn in kansas 300 yards south of bob's diner"?

Well, compare the situation in remote viewing with someone who is reporting an event they can only vaguely remember. These memories would not match the actual event completely but could be used for a number of purposes. For example, police could use the information as a possible lead to follow up on.
