The #7 "Oregon Beach Inlet" was actually just off the north jetty of Newport, Oregon. Two men in an aluminum skiff capsized in the surf, and weren't wearing lifejackets. A tourist just happened to be out on the jetty with his video camera, and took that amazing footage of the two men being rescued. I was there on the jetty, as part of the CG crew...the helicopter dropped the man that they picked up off with us, and we delivered him to an ambulance. Everyone in the crew did a great job!

I remember renting this movie with the movie "Tucker" in the late 80's. This film came out in '86 and I think it was a good movie for the times even now. I liked the opening theme music to this film. I liked River Phoenix. Is there a soundtrack to this movie by chance? I saw this movie again recently for like the 8th time in my life. It makes me think a lot. There is a life outside of urban decay and corrupt politics. I hope I get there someday.

hey lotsurfx I just bought one from daddiesboardshop and was contemplating Abec 11's Gumballs or ZigZags. Their all pretty good wheels, mainly for sliding, cruisin and commuting and even downhill, and since the pro 40 can pretty much handle anything thrown her way, than those wheels are a pretty good choice. But in the end I bought the new Orangatangs InHeat wheel, which I've heard are better. Check out Daddiesboardshop and silverfishlongboarding for some more opinions
