yeah you can cfw any psp that comes with a 4.01 ofw to CFW. in this case, the psp as he said was originally shipped with 3.XX OFW then updated it to 4.XX, yes pandora will work... BUT IF the PSP is originall shipped with a 4.01 and with a mobo 088v3, i don't think you can CFW it. I'm betting on it, you can't as of now...

This is just a little note to those who think you can't downgrade a PSP that came with 4.01 OFW. WRONG. Only SOME of the new PSPs can't be downgraded. I put 4.01m33-2 on a Madden slim that came with 4.01 OFW.

you can't downgrade if your psp came with 4.01 ofw or later out of the box because of the new motherboard look up ta-088 ver. 3. If you update to 4.05 from anything lower than 4.01 you can install cfw

dude pandora battery is when you CAREFULLY slice the seal around the battery case, pull it off, and under you have a circuit board flap, theres a pin inside it which you have to UNpin, find out which one exactly, its very easy, either that or you can buy a: "DATEL TOOL BATTERY" its bright orange, there are some for slims and some for phats so go amazon or ebay or whatever youl find one for sure, or to save you the trouble there are places online thatl do it for you at a price,! I used Pandora GUI deluxe v0.2 to create the Jigstick, and the Battery-Tool from Datel/Codejunkies for the Pandora-Battery.

its only for phat, if you wants to use 1.50 kernel i suggest you use "time machine", m33 team and dark alex can't figure out how to flash the 1.50 kernel because it is customly for phat psp's only, for now, but i know sumday they will figure that out.

Download the 3.90 M33 Addon from Dark Alexs website. Unzip and you will find the 150k_addon folder. Copy the 150k_addon folder from your PC to PSP in this directory: PSP/GAME/ Download the 1.50 Firmware and place it into the root directory of your PSP. Disconnect your USB cable and then on the XMB, go to GAME>Memory Stick then run the 1.50 Kernel Add on update. Follow the onscreen instructions and wait. The PSP will restart automatically after the update has been installed.
