Let me clear up a few things: -Tibet has been a part of China, if you don't believe me, look on the map. -China is not anti-Buddhist, there are Muslims, Buddhists, Christians in China, these are the main religions. it did, and it got pretty awkward. there were at least 2 side-stories going on that had nothing to do with anything, and led nowhere. and ratings fell. the show tanked, and lynch walked out. at the very end, he came back and did his magic, but the damage was done. the worst part was that the show ending with several nail-biting cliffhangers that the movie barely resolved. id mention them, but it would be major spoilers.

Regarding how these "RED" or "Communist" Tibetan hate exiled Tibetan, many exiled Tibetan must have their own and direct experience. I heard that the exiled Tibetan people in India are allowed by China government to come back to Tibet to visit their families and relatives. As I know, there is a large "RED" tibetan population agaisnt Dalai. Second, Dalai is right. In 1959, Dalai and his followers were much more stronger than now. They had an army that were greatly outnumbered CCP troops in Tibet by then. Also, most Tibetan people by then did not follow CCP yet. However, they still failed in 1959.

So I do believe that when the Dalai Lama talks about peace he is on the right track. In the film a Tibetan guy speaks about taking their objections directly to Chinese people. I personally can't see that as being helpful; after all most people don't like it nor are they swayed when issues are personlized in the manner of "all Chinese are horrible and worse".

Someone posted that the real issue is the apathy of ordinary Tibetans. I concur with that. I'd also say that until the recent headline-grabbing confrontations most people in "the West" wouldn't have given two hoots about what's going on. They're probably still not greatly bothered by it. The problem isn't "Han Chinese" chauvinism. It's the anti-liberal military/bureaucracy. Only with genuine liberal democracy will there be an improvement in Tibet.

Samdong Rinpoche is right. Confrontation won't help with the situation. I don't blame the "Free-Tibet" people for doing what they want, but if they genuinely care about the welfare of the majority of the Tibetan people, they should take more responsible, more constructive approaches. I lived for more than 10 years in Tibet. It was obvious to me that the independence movement lacks grass-root support. All the Tibetans I know can't care less about it.
