Did you strip the wires back? If you leave the wires coloured as they are then there is no connection. You MUST use a screwdriver to take the covering off of all of the wires you want to use. If you have one, use a multimeter and set it to resistance and the diode test function. Some will beep, others will show a reading on the screen. If it says 1, then there is no connection.

The complete prototype circuit is shown here built on a single PCB. The reflector is made from PVC pipe with a rear mirror. EHT now slightly lower and the gap size has been reduced. Track is 'Hold Me Now' from the Thompson Twins - chosen purely for it's good dynamic range, vocals & clever percussion ! So I guess my main point is - nobody really ever appreciates the time they currently live in. lol I loved the late '80s to mid '90s cast was the best, in my opinion.
