I love how the bass just drones and distorts after they sing the last line of the chorus. You have to listen to it on a higher quality medium than a sound file on a pc speaker though. Anybody else ever notice, or know what I mean?

I've been a big fan of Pat's music, I think the first album I purchased was "American Garage" and have been a fan ever since. I love playing his music while taking long drives, It's almost like a Soundtrack for the long drive. (Wow that sounds like the title of a song!)

Jimi Hendrix used to really get to me but Pat Metheny has become my favorite guitarist of all time. Maybe it's an age thing as I approach the 60's, don't know. But I can't think of any musician I enjoy more (maybe Justin Hayward). Slip Away is my favorite from Pat M. Thanks for posting this song, when I get out on the road I crank up this song and all my problems go away - nice to see the faces and watch them create this beautiful song.

I like Addison, and I liked what I got from the extremely short season of Private Practice. Addison isn't back on Grey's Anatomy, fyi. It's call crossing-over. They do it a lot with spin-offs. They'll come back and help out and all that jazz. She's back in LA now.
