I had k800i too, and had the same problem, decided to change and, at this moment I`m really happy with p1i (yet, I still use k800i sometimes). It`s a really good phone, maybe not the most beatifull one, but You get a lot of features in medium prized phone. It`s only missing GPS, check out Nokia`s E71 too.

You get a golfing game with it, but its a bit boring. You have a wireless internet detector, so you can get free(but crappy on this phone)internet, and you can get(even worse) internet to pay for. My dan has the nokia n95, and trust me its worth the only litle bit af paying more money for. Internet is so cool, and even dow it hasn't touchscreen, its much more better internet than you can imagine, almost as fast as ipod touch, wich almost is as fast as a computer.

you can download many, many softwares to this phone. It have touch-screen and qwerty keyboard witch I like. I wanted a phone with both touchscreen and a keyboard and this phone have that + much more, love it. I really don't think there is a bad thing except that it could have been a 3,5mm headphone connector. And I've heard that other people complain about the battery time. I must add that I don't own this yet but i have ordered it just a couple a days ago. Watch all the youtube vids.

This used to be my favorite Tech TV show. But this review is a mess! the Wifi icon is just at the top of the screen next to the Network signal indicator. If somehow not there which is rare unless they used a used phone for their review it means it has been disabled and you can re-enable it by going to "Connections" from the down-arrow from the top right of the screen (also next to the Network signal indicator) and then click Wireless Lan from the drop down menu and that is it!

With the majority of electronics, problems you have with them can be individual to you and maybe a few others if you're lucky. His problem with the WiFi might be something to do with his area's WiFi signal? I wouldn't buy it though - it looks complicated to use, and I don't use my mobiles for web browsing.

lol. This person is a total as*hole. I never have a problem with my wifi connection and all my applications work perfectly with the internet connection either on wifi or gprs. It even have fallen for few times on the hard simen floor from quite a height (1metres i guess and this robust phone works perfectly fine) I bet iphone is just like any other ipods, they surely have lots of problems.

He must be retarded also, or have finger motorical skills competely screwed up, there's no way you can write faster on the iphone than on the P1i (Me on my P1i and a classmate on his iPhone tried it, offcourse i won on my P1i). WiFi problems? not as much as on the iPhone (we tried several hotspot browsing simultaneously, he got disconnected, I didn't. N95? True, beats the P1i on the multimedia side, but what about the touch screen, RAM, speed (P1i transitions off?

I have P1i an I am not using Wayfinder for GPS because it recuires internet conn.. so i installed TOM TOM, it doesnt need internet, it is free. there is also GARMIN, both are great... of coursd you need gps receiver, it comes with your mobile device

This is not the real P1's funtion. He is just using external GPS Tomtom through Bluetooth Phone. It means you shuld buy GPS device seperately. Samsung or Nokia is better. This dosen't has even built-in GSP reciever. Sony products usually has less features and lower Technology comparing with other brands. Only stupit idiots who does not have any knowledge about Elec-devices thinks sony shuld be better because brend name looks better and expencive. Be smart!

It needs an internet connection because it download the maps by GPRS. But the firs time you install wayfinder i think it has to register and that´s probably why it didn´t work for you. Contact your operator to setup your p1i for GPRS. Good luck.

I think actually the software ad GPS reciever vary in what country you buy it. I´ve heard aswell that the GPS reciever was a kind of goodwill from sony/e just for the firt set of p1i. But it still comes with it here in Sweden if you go buy one today so I don´t really know. But obviously you didn´t get one then. Be sure to ask the retailer before buying it. And yes you pay data-trafic cost for downloading the maps by GPRS.

mira este cel lo compré por ML hace tiempo, me costo 5000, ahora ya bajo de precio y esta en 3500 peso mexicano, t recomiendo que lo compres por mercadolibre ya que te los dan desbloqueados para telcel y movistar, y si lo compras en movistar viene bloqueado y la liberacion sale cara. puedes instalarle cosas como a una palm, claro esta algunas cosas no seran compatibles por el tipo de symbian que trae instalado, este trae el uiq3 y por ejemplo hay aplicaciones para uiq2 y os OS series 80 y 90

Nokia has fixed some of the worser problems of the 6120 with the new 6121. 1. New battery that doesn't heat up the phone like the old one. 2. Much better battery Life. 3. Much faster- 6120 has gprs class 11 which gives u a speed of 48 kbps whereas 6121 classic has gprs class 32 which gives u a speed of 107 kbps. Same is the case with edge, one has edge class 10 and the other class 32. Still. Smallish keys, poor image quality with camera, and easy to break.. not that i plan on dropping mine.

Great review! "Heck, this thing's got a radio as well!" Nokia 6121 classic is designed for Europe. 900 MHz 3G/HSDPA network has already been opened in Finland by Elisa and Saunalahti. There are now 5 colour choices: Black, White, Blue, Gold and Pink. Blue or White... I haven't decided yet.

We have a couple of 6120's here at work. They're being used to replace the now obsolete 6230i's. We run smartmail pushmail on then and that had a huge impact on battery life.. other than that, great phone!

There's a slight mistake in the review. You're mistaking the 6120 for 6121. 6120=3G 850/2100 Mhz so it's US compatible, while 6121=3G 900/2100 Mhz so not compatible w/ USA 3G.
