The ending ws brilliant because of how realistic it was. The bad guy does get away alot of the time, and the guys fighting to keep peace and order lose alot of the time in real life. So, Anton got away, Llewelyn died, and Sheriff Ed Tom Bell pretty much failed. In a hollywood ending, Llewelyn would've killed Anton,and that would be entertaining for audiences, but it would really degrade the movie. The film is art, if it had hollywood ending, all it would be is just a good movie.

I think that the lack of male birth control methods is largely a cultural problem. There is a stigma, and men don't seem to want it. We have the ability to make it. The inequality is striking when you consider the relative simplicity of male hormonal makeup and the ease of manipulating sperm viability when contrasted with the complexity of female hormones and the array of side effects and overmedication they are expected to accept on the pill. Rights come with responsibilities. Too many people, not just women don't realize that. No women can ever say to a guy, you got me pregnant, with the exception of rape. You got yourself pregnant by having sex. Everyone, men and women need to face up to their own actions and choices.

Hello Kicesie, Interesting, informative and fun blogs. I personally had many problems starting out in sex because of problems getting to grips with condoms. Thankfully patient women (they always are) helped overcome fears. The turning point came when I discovered 'Masculan' a condom make from Germany, which fit differently. But here's how I see it: When people hear ALL of the things men have put me through they ask, 'how can you not hate men' and my answer has always been... that men have certainly been the ones to nearly destroy me, rip me apart, tear my soul into pieces. There is a difference between stereotyping and interpreting the vast statistics. When a woman is murdered, statistically it is most likely to be her intimate partner who did it. 1 in 3 women will be sexually assaulted in her lifetime. If we added physical abuse, it's at least 1 in 2 who are assaulted. So if that reality leads us to anger or fear, I can't blame them one bit. I just don't think it's constructive.

That's sad though, women have always the reputation of being more cautious(good) and more patient(good) than men and that is beginning to change. If people (men and women) want to have a larger "array" of sexual partners then they shouldn't compromise at all, it is important people differ passion from love. (2nd part) fathers as much rights to thier sons and daughters as there mothers have sure women carry the child for 9 months but it takes 2 ppl to make a child n yet mothers get about 99% more rights becuz women carry the child for 9 months and yet men (assuming they stuck with the girl and took the responsability) have to deal with a pregnant womens mood swings-craveings and the abuse dureing labour which can last for hours and then possible depression so why do men get next to no rights
