I love the PS3, i think it is nice and cool design but this interface is just a bit to empty. Needs a bit more to do within the menus. The little icons are very small and you cannot really get through everything that easy. Yes after like a couple of weeks you start to get a feel for it but still even then its very hard to find what your looking for straight away. Needs a similar system to the Xbox 360, why because it works nice like that plus there is more to look at.

I agree, my point might be off bit but u need wallet funds to buy from PS store, Although their is a Playstation card optn to ad wallet funds, but I asked a guy at the Playstation store and he says they aren't for sale but it could be a beta. But yeah I personally don't like the fact of giving a credit card over the PS network because your info is most likely given to 3rd party companies, (I it is shared). PS network sucks! Sony should do something more useful than stop useless features!

The Playstation store is the biggest SCAM Sony has. In order to buy stuff you have to have a minimum of $5 in your account WALLET. This automatically gets charged to your credit card. So you have the $5 fund no less right and you buy something that is $1.99 (a family guy episode). Now you have $3 left, but Sony is going to add $2 to your wallet (CHARGING YOUR CREDIT CARD) so you have the minimum $5. So they get $4 for something that is $1.99!

that or you can download the update onto a cd or a USB and plug it into your ps3, and choose to update your ps3 using USB, and it'll update. i wouldnt do it now because Sony took the update off because there were problems.

lol, i highly doubt they would "lie" about it. As he said earlier it might come in the second part of the update, because he said there was going to be multiple parts of this patch. Its impossible to patent something as vague as being able to play music while playing games.

Ive since moved to TVersity and can now play all files including mkv etc. Delete all your codec packs from your system and reboot. Download tversity and install the patch. install the ffdshow (610) release. Also turn off AC3 in your FFDshow audio codec config after installation. Install Haali Splitter. Install AC3 filter and set it to 2.0 stereo. Reboot. Tip: Dont try playing it on your ps3 until it plays in the tversity window.

I think that a very slow moving wave would be a fantastic background to a Flash or Silverlight website. Much like it is a fantastic background for the PS3/PSP. So I would like to create a wave like this using Bezier curves or SPlines and gradients. I was wondering whether this video was a recording of the PS3 wave or if you created it. If you created it I was wondering if you could give me any tips on creating it myself. Thanks!

when IS Home being released..... by the way for people who dont know XMB stands for Xross Media Bar. It was first used on the PSP system and then was adapted to PS3. i also have the game Motorstorm along with Dynasty Warriors: Gundam, and a number of other titles....
