ive got a psp with 1.5 firmware. do i need a custom firmware to be able to install devhook. because i tried to install it i kept on getiing an error.

WTF i tried to do that, but there is only 1 picture in the henc folder, which is rand, and it doesnt do anything. help me pls, i want to downgrade my 2.71

2.71 but you can just downgrade if you have under 3.03 which is much better

Yo, what about uninstalling it? Would it affect my psp in any harmful ways? Or are they just files in my memory stick and it wont affect my psp at all?

i do that exact same thing only at the end...it doesnt show that error....it just shuts off my psp and stays at 2.71

the same thing happens to me. all you have to do is make sure that you hard reset (hold the power switch up for 4 to 8 seconds) then click on the photos right away as soon as you turn your psp on then it should work.
