Made it a short way through the video; was that "The Boxer"? Honestly, this is a great set-up, great way to teach people to fingerpick. I learned it on my own; picked it up without anyone telling me how to. Blackbird was one of the first songs I learned to play...so your style is great, but it's something I can limit myself to.

I think you should tab stuff mate. Not to distribute to scrubs. But just because you can learn a lot by tabbing something down :) Seeing it on the paper somehow gives you a different look to the whole thing. Plus in 10 years time you'll have something to go back to. Lovely playing, of course :D

But, hey, I am a folksinger, and I do support Obama and have hope that he may prove to be a great leader for the US at home and in the way the US deals with the rest of the world. Not really that weird. To cite a well known extreme, Bach did this all of the time. This might seem a little foreign to you if you have mainly been listening to the rubbish produced in the last 50 years which rarely strays far away from chords based on the fourth and fifth interval. I just use the thumbpicks and and my nails for the guitar, but you need the fingerpicks on banjo to get any speed out of it, unless of course you play clawhammer style.
