Get over it, the players that have used the laws gave them the thumbs up, the fans that have seen them in practice think its a change for the better, the Super 14 was better for it and the Tri Nations is the best one for a long long time. If you check the IBOT wheelchair you'll see the mechanism by which a heavy wheelchair can stand and keep balance on 2 wheels with the person on it. My invention will use the same technology combined with a microprocessor and a body-tight robotic hand-assistant, waist-support and leg-support to keep a partially paralized person upright and help him walk forward balanced based on his height/weight.

I must say, the concept of a 2+ leg-based robot would be much better with 4 legs, each jointed. Each leg could raise itself, still supported by the other 3 legs, plant itself in the direction it wants to go, and then the next leg follows suite. It would be slower, but it would also eliminate the possibility of leg degeneration, for the current 3-leg model involves a leg "dragging" itself across the surface it is walking on. A four-legged model could also roam in precise directions.

The black adhesive is not conductive to DC. It behaves like a solid electrolyte that stores electrical charge like a regular capacitor. Just to comment on the nonlinearity observed: Current does not follow a linear path with voltage in the cell. Between 0-1.8 volts it's pretty straight and shallow. At this point it begins to break down and current starts to rise steeply. Between 1.8 and 2.4 volts is where it makes this transition. Over 2.4 volts the current continues to rise exponentially with voltage.

There is a solvent you can get in a marine store for that stuff if you apply some heat it will come off too save the plates. And here's the worst part. I still don't know if the adhesive I was using before is any better. I have two smears of adhesive curing tonight, one new, one old. I WANTED to stay away from caustic electrolytes and pulse straight distilled only. UNTIL I discovered what a poor choice it was to use this adhesive that completely threw off any predicted capacitance values for the cell. This made it totally unsuitable for use as part of a tuned resonant tank circuit. Until I rebuild with different adhesive it's suitable for DC only. >:(

Its all super 8mm no filters - i shot on an old russian stock called quatzchrome wich gives it the strange effect. The only bit done in the edit was where I keyed images over the TV screen and you can see this quite easily as I made a shoddy job of it.

No doubt the Germans had some smart engineers. So did the Americans, but we had a war to win so our focus was on production techniques and new designs of known, producable (sp?) technology. Winning the war was more important than wasting effort on designs that wasted resources and couldn't be maintained in the field. I'd say it worked. And you bet the Germans came to work for us. The only other option was the Russians and they HATED Germans ! BTW Von Braun was a genius !

It's true, and the only natural response to the collapse of the Third Reich. Operation Paperclip was a brilliant idea. I just wish they'd made more research into some of the more trippy ideas the scientists of das Vaterland, like say, the Silbervogel Amerikabomber - a plane that is designed to go above the stratosphere and then glide half way around the globe, "bouncing" on the upper layers of the atmosphere - brilliantly sci-fi-esque !

The use was so that aircraft would not need runways. The end of ww2 Germany was being bombed around the clock, including their airfields and a fighter plane that would not need a runway and be able to get airborne quickly was high on the list to put into production. Today it is no diferent, the ability to land in areas under fire without the expence of long strips that would be a target for terriorist etc.

Oh, calm down. History wouldn't matter if we didn't build off of the work of others. Each person would have to reinvent the wheel for him/herself. Germany experimented with it, and the U.S. double-checked to see if Germany had missed any potential. In the end, both projects failed anyway.

One cannot help but imagine what the German genuis for mech. engineering, aviation technology, and ahead-of-its-time military hardware by late 1944, would have acheived in WW2, had it not been for that absolute maniac Hitler in control, to managed to totally stuff up the whole operation of the German War Machine - all on his own, but with a lot of help from that equally stupid klutz, Goering. I'm not sure... I think the Germans DID have good armour, but they had a philosophy that "Bigger was better", hence, the paris gun, etc. When it came to tanks, bigger usually WAS better, but the Russians had what is deemed to be the best WWII tank ever, the T-34 Mediume Battle Tank. So I'm not sure if the Germans had the best armour. Aircraft superiority was an average, considering the equality to America&England, and the fact that german aircraft & armour had a bad time in the Russian cold.

That is actually correct. U-234 surrendered to the US and the Captain opted to keep the cargo intact rather than dump the load. It was headed for Japan, who many speculate were at a similiar development stage as the US. The final location of the cargo was not revealed, the time frame of the surrender in comparison to the time the bombs were dropped on Japan would mean an almost inheard of development speed for the final stages. Most think it was compared with what was already on hand.

Tall cell is still in the car, limping along. More production than the tall? Using straight DC I don't know. Different material for the plates, closer spacing, KOH instead of NaOH, may be close but I'd be surprised if it was more. Applying the advanced techniques I plan to test, if they work, 10 fold more production, maybe even 100 fold. Next phase is to round up components and heat up the soldering iron.
