you'd need a few things. i recommend a psp psx eboot program or two, and you'd need some programs to extract the original video from the psx game, then edit and convert it into the correct format to use as a preview, etc this is incredibly complicated to do, but if you've ever worked with ps1 games on say, a emulator such as epsxe (or based off of it, shouldn' be too hard

you rip the disk to an iso, then a popsloader can convert that iso to an eboot, which can be read on the psp if it has custom firmware. However i cant get Parasite Eve 2, Final Doom, Or this game EHRGEIZ to work

That's because you need to have the correct version of popsloader to run the game properly. I was having the same problem, until I got the right file to DL. Then all I did was put that file I downloaded into the /seplugins folder of my PSP, and when you load the game next time - it will ask you what version of popsloader you would like to use.

just combine each disc as if thay were different games. if you want you can rename the eboots. i.e EBOOT.PBP.001 and so on in order then combine them.. and try to play it. if that does not work then you will half to have disc 1-4 as different eboots. tell me if it workes.

1. If at the end of the eboot name it has .pbp or .(a letter) then replace part 1 with .001 and part 2 with .002. 2. If it's just the name of the game or any thing else just add .001 and .002 at the end of the name. If that does not work then just comment again and I'll try to help you

I completely agree. I remember when they first ported CT to the psx. I was really disappointed. The addition of the library was really nice for geeks like me, but the really cheap "DBZ" style animations didn't do the game any credit, and the load times completely killed the feel of the game for me. Seamless battles were what seperated CT from the FF series and the port killed that feeling.

I think the best way to play Chrono Trigger is on the (PSP) snes emulator. Im agree with OSHIDesu, the snes rom weights about 4MB, the entire ISO weights about 600MB. Besides the snes rom doesnt load anything, the ISO does, the "now loading" can feel it between battles.

Are you sure about that? The load times likely resulted from data being streamed off of a disc. For an eboot, the data is coming straight off of the memory stick. Even if it were that version, due to the fact that an eboot is contained on and that data is coming straight from a memory stick means that the data should load up fairly quickly.

Problem is no one can. Snestyl on psp runs the game extreme framerate problems, which imo makes it unplayable. That's why im considering emulating it this way via pops. Besides if it's running off memstick surely the load times will be decreased?

LOL i know this sounds stupid, I normally know this, but has not used the psp for like months...but now my Chrono Cross isn't working. Either i updated the firmware to 4.01 m33, or I added the snes emulator, that some how doesn't fit into it? The game stops after the loading "Square Soft" scene.

Well... for whatever reason (I haven't exactly found WHY it does it) FFVIII can freeze/crash at random times. However I've only had this happen five times and I'm already on the third disc... so aside from being a minor annoyance... it's not too bad.

This is a great game. I made eboots from my game cds. The only problem is that I wished I could merge the two cds' into one eboot. I know there's got to be a way. I love my psp now that I hacked it and have cfw 4.01 m33-2. Yes everyone out there!!!!! you need cfw to play psx games. But not just psx games, you can also play nintendo, snes, n64 and sega genesis roms. Who knows maybe more. Anyways, thanks for the video.
