A lot of conservatives in the house lately. Dems and their votes vote on emotion "the polar bears are dying, trees are dying, he's a victim of society blah, blah! Republicans vote onz fair playing field, individual freedoms, the rule of law and not activist judges. We are capitalist not socialist. Which one creates, inovates and provides jobs and wealth. Stop watching MTV news and Michael Moore crap that plays on emotion. See the bigger pciture folks!

clarkdonna4! Because most American are dumb, uninterested or bored with anything that doesn't envole a ball being kicked or thrown and scratching off a ticket with a quarter. Some hard working people have no time and others beleive they need Gov., unions, and radical positions to get their 15 minutes. Most people shouldn't in addition to felons, poor, homeless, HOLLYWOOD and rap artists! Word Up!

How did BO get in while we have Americans like this who are more intelligent.

Alan Keys is up there with Geraldo Rivera. Give it a rest. Vote for Ron Paul. That's like putting a big sign on your back saying I don't know what the corp tax rate, who my House Rep is, what the earned income tax credit is or know the beauty of water boarding a bomb throwing raghead intent on killing all of us! Keys and Paul! What about Wierd Al Yanckovic! Listen to yourself! Reaching the bottom of the barrow. Nader! Good grief! How do I respond to that. Our enemies would surely invade us!
By: douglasquade9. on 04 Dec 08, 20:54:42
seeing as ron paul lost the GOP ticket i would have voted for Nader as opposed to McCain
By: TiJayEve. on 04 Dec 08, 20:19:22
Alan Keys? Seriously, okay. He actually did run, just didn't make it on too many ballots. But I believe he was on in your state. Seriously though, the guys a wack job. There are better, more respectable conservatives than Alan Keys. Seriously. And maybe that's because the Republican party does not consist of only christian conservatives. It would seem to me that we've just had 8 years of the kind of conservative that conservatives wanted. Congrats.

You sound like someone who is brainwashed into believing the everything America has done is right. America has been guilty of REAL tyranny throughout it's history and is ALSO accused of being a bully because we have been a bully to nations we don't approve of. You criticize young people and "liberals" being for following celebrities or being "brainwashed", but it's just as true that conservatives and right-wingers are brainwashed by religious ideologues and right-wing "celebrities".
By: elidetreyes. on 04 Dec 08, 04:53:01
So, when John Kerry was backed up by many musicians and he lost, what was the excuse? Maybe back up the statements and then it's believable. Backing up Palin? Wow. Low standards much? 6 years to finish a 4 year degree ....in journalism! Wow. Sad.
By: ravenslaves. on 04 Dec 08, 04:52:33
DC (Washington) has insulated themselves from us, the public for too long. Does the public support amnesty for illegals, or 8-9 trillion dollar bailouts? If they bother to ask us, which they often don't, they ignore the answer we give them. There are too few, good, public servants in DC. Maybe, there's enough pissed off Americans out there to support a REAL third party, and shatter the monopoly of the DC lifers. How about no incumbants for the next 4 years? No exceptions.
By: racdragon339. on 04 Dec 08, 04:38:30
As an optimist I always try to look on the bright side of things. In this instance I believe that the unfourtanate republican defeat will allow some new conservative blood to spring up from the party.

By: PadawanOsswe. on 03 Dec 08, 23:12:46
For 2012, we need a triple threat. An intelligent (but not intellectual) man (or woman) of the people who is not another Ivy League Silver-spooner (Not a requirement, but it would help). We need a candidate that is a master of the English language and delivering points in a simple and yet elegant manner. And we need someone who is truly interested in...and understands Economics, Defense/Homeland Security and Education. pretty much a Reagan type-figure.
By: realnarutoboy. on 03 Dec 08, 21:03:42
The media is really what makes it almost impossible. Look at Sarah Palin. They tried to paint her as a nutcase because her pastor speaks about the "end times". WHAT PERSON OF FAITH DOESN'T??? I mean, there's a whole book in the bible dedicated to just that, the end times. LOL. It's not "impossible". Look at George Bush. But it is difficult, especially if the religious community doesn't put all their support behind you. If they do, they can be a powerful force, that's for sure.
By: Nevarwinter. on 03 Dec 08, 20:13:39
If the republicans can't bring out an overly religious candidate, then why did every gay marriage ban pass? The Left will say anything to make themselves believe that they are actually destroying faith, when they are pushing more and more people towards it.
By: JohnR22926. on 03 Dec 08, 18:25:54
green: The Reps won't run a candidate that's overly religious because they can't win a general election. In fact, the Rep Party isn't really religious...they just trot out the rhetoric to fire up the Base for elections. And, yeah, Fox is biased. But it's the only cable news outlet that's on the Right. Every other one is biased to the Left (MSNBC, NBC, CBS, PBS, CNN). Every single one. And the Left just cannot DEAL WITH the fact that Fox exists. Typical Leftists; they must have it ALL.

You can sit and post like you actually read the Patriot Act. Yet, I sure you can name all the Pussy Cat Dolls. Democrats raised hell with the Act to scare the dumb, uninformed and noninterested of the population. Then the Dems voted for it because they knew exactly what it did in terms of stopping plots. Are you getting phone calls from Karachi and Lahore, Pakistan? How about Kartoum, Sudan? Why don't try serving your country besides cooking french fries for the GIs at McDonalds.KoolAid drinkers
By: STHNER. on 03 Dec 08, 05:59:15
Please FoxNews was the only network to ask the hard questions and broke the story of his racist fake preacher Rev. Wright and his buddy terrorist Bill Ayers. MSNBC's Hardball Chris Matthew and the idiot Kieth Oberman talking about how they got shivers up their legs listening to Obama. Most journalists are liberal or they don't get jobs. Yes biased! Same with Hollywood. You folks to busy with basketball, MTV and who Brad Bitt is doing this week to get any news other than a 3 minute sound bite.
By: greenring67. on 03 Dec 08, 01:44:01
I never said it was a landslide. But it was a mandate. Biased media? You betcha, Fox News is a perfect example. Still you avoid my point. How about you repubs propping up Huckabee/Keyes in '12? I dare ya.

"I would have voted for Ron Paul." Then we have one thing in common, we are both libertarian at heart, and so is Ron Paul. Most of his career Ron Paul did not run as a republican at all.. He was playing politics running as a republican so that he would be allowed to debate. This two party system that we are in makes things that way. Third parties rarely get into the debates, regardless how much support they have. Look at Nader.
By: douglasquade9. on 02 Dec 08, 20:43:05
I didn't vote for Bush, I am not even old enough. And I wouldn't have voted for him, and I wouldn't have voted for McCain neither. I would have voted for Ron Paul. Also both sides are fucked up and corrupt, it goes way deeper than you even know. Watch Alex Jones' "End Game".
