Yes it does need taking apart - you can speak to a local shop and see if they would help you. a nvidia grafixcard is all you need really and can be brought cheaply for some 20 - 25 quid. But do speak to someone who can help you fit it ok.

Junctions are easy - one rule though - always keep the same track - they join everytime then - if you try joining conctrete clean to wood oily it wont let you (EVER) so keep the track the same ok - look forward to seeing your route available soon - have fun

I also tried setting a route on the map like you did with a regular train, and that didnt work either, I tried shift-clickng on the track and shift-clicking on the blue circles but the trains path wouldn't change. I'm about to give up on this game and wait till MSTS2 comes out.

i use it on both vista and XP and both work great - the KRS (kuju rail simulator) isnt bad at all but we are all waiting for the DevTools which should be available on the 12th Nov - i find it very good so far - time will tell.

Yes it's a good route, I think thats ais a very good start to it, Have you seen the Trainz 2006 one on You Tube,hope that will be done for Rail Simulator,you certainly have done great job with what is avaiable,actually you could say that is close to what Cross Rail will look like.Not that they need it,or want it by all accounts.Would have thought undoing the 9000 miles of damage that Beeching and Marples did would be a better idea, cetainly cheaper than Cross Rail will end up.

The quality of the graphics is really impressive -- I hope that openBVE rises to this challenge! The only letdown is the terrible MSTS catenary with lead pipe for overhead lines and physics-defying horizontal curves in the lines. At least the cantilever masts look decent, maybe in time the catenary will all look great, like Anthony Bowden's catenary in his BVE/openBVE routes!

Ok when your in scenario mode you will have a list of locos and wagons - you only get them then and you can have fun making up sets - remember if you want to drive that loco do put a driver on the loco... Have fun

@ ekin1972 - Trainz may be "user friendly" but Rail Sim is an ADVANCED Sim and offers a MUCH WIDER range of experience to the end user. Trainz '06 is out dated now with the new kid on the block and with MSTS2 scheduled for release in 2009 then it will be out dated twice over. Your opinions are your own and respect you prefer Trainz 2006 to Kuju's Rail Simulator

Have you thought about trying to do the Midland route out of Green Park Station as it oddly only has the S&D route out of it and yet the Midland route was the main purpose of the station. Their was even better routes out of Temple Meads, best of all would be the Midland route north from old Temple Meads station [the terminus], more direct, the otehr defunt route south through Pensford and Clutton is rather direct also Would ahve been a better route to Bournemouth.

You have to carefully gauge the placement X over the trackbed, but just underneath the roadway's lane. Use your left mouse to place , and you'll see a orange square appear and the crossing signal. You can the position the stand however you like beside the road. If using Car Spawners, make sure their line goes directly through orange square.

Hi there - MSTS is difficult like all programs to start with. however once you get the hang of it it gets easier...find a site that has loads of addons and then learn how to get then to show - then play. The best way to learn is start with a test route and mess about till you have the idea of the building structure of the program.....Most of all - have fun
