Please explain to me exactly HOW you feel it's in any way Archo's responsibility do do ANYTHING at all regarding your stolen 605? Apparently you didnt keep up with it well enough. Shit happens when you allow it to, and that is in no way the fault of the company, end of story. maybe it's a good lesson learned and you'll be a bit more careful next time.

not much of a review.. more of a "visual comparison" the only thing i dont like about my archos is that its not really ment for your finger, it comes with 2 stylies. and there is no slot for the styili in the archos. but you get used to it, just use your nail a bit more.

I bought the 605 WiFi not quite a year ago and was very happy with it. I spent a chunk of money for all the accessories and then it was stolen. I was not very pleased with Archos support when I explained my problem. They did not seem to care. It would have been nice if I at least had a sympathetic ear. I will now look at other devices that might be similar. Customer support is very high on my list when buying a product even if the product costs a little more.

i have the archos. the two items only have two things in common: touch screen and music players. i have the archos 605 wifi. its really not what you would call portable; its extremely heavy and needs to be charged to often. getting iPod touch; much better product although pricey, you do pay for quality, right? get itouch, not archos. i was diisapointed w/ my archos and most ppl never heard of them. that says NO ONE buys them. for a reason. which is its pricey, but not paying for quality.

At first, I was disappointed with the Huge Size of this ZEN. Then, I noticed you can play almost any video format and was very user friendly. Also, the videos and photos uploaded into this zune look great. What I love the most, is uploading photos into the ZEN W on the spot from you friends camera. I wish it had a dam stand though, I hate holding it up tp my face.

I have the firmware problem and i did this: " 1.Disconnect the ZVW from the computer. 2. Turn off the ZVW. 3. Remove the battery. 4. Move and hold the power button to the power on position while re-inserting the battery. 5. Hold the Power button until the Recovery Mode menu appears. 6. Select the Format option from the menu. 7. When the format is completed, select Cleanup from the menu of options. 8. Then Restart the ZVW and see if it boots up normally." But it didnt work, Help.

Pros- Plays video & music very well. The earbuds that come with it are good. Simple Navigation. Easy Drag-n-Drop for .mp3's. Customizable background and font color. Cons-touch bar is a little over sensitive. And the screen needs washing often.

p2 poowns touch in music quality TWICE i think apple forgot that they are building something there which shall be mainly used to play music. but 2g touch still has the old Wolfson sound chip - which means 'average' quality just compare the sound quality of touch with any actual player of samsung, sony, iriver etc and you will be shocked that you have payed so many dollars for such a shame concerning music playback

The P2 is the only thing that comes close to the touch, and it still loses. On paper, the touch loses. No FM, no bluetooth, no customizable menus or fonts, but in the end you can do more with the touch. It also does the basic things better. The touch has an amazing web browser and cool apps. It has a better interface than any of the ones on the P2. The touch wins.

ha... the choice is easy for me. The ipod touch by far... its all together seamless... and the p2 doesnt even have internet capabilities. The screen is also much better on the touch and you have all the access to itunes and all of the apps... on the p2 you have...umm well not that much

This error is because of the OLED screen. The blue part of the pixel stops working after 37.500 hours of use, while the green and red parts continues working until 155.000 hours. Recently, this error has been fixed, and OLED can be produced with a blue part pixel that lasts just as long as the red and green parts. However, it's not sure, that Creative will produce new models of this Zen V with the fixed screen. I would still recommend it. Just don't buy the blue one. Buy the other ones... :D

one malfunction to watch out for. Mine started it´s decline by the screen slowly fading in light till it went completely black- no problem, fill it with all your fave songs and remember how to get to random play all from the main menu so u can select it blind. however, then the buttons started malfunctioning- I´d try to skip songs and it would pause or something instead like all the buttons in it were swapping with each other what they should do every 2 minutes. after that it just stopped workin

My iPod just broke last week, and after looking at a video confirming drag and drop for both Windows and Mac, this has me sold. My only gripe is the interface design(I'm an interface geek, hence the iPod). It looks like Sony was trying the "PSP" look, but stopped midway:( Oh, well, the good outweigh the bad, so I'll definetly pick it up once I have money for it.

Btw i have the archos 605 wifi (to anyone tht's thinking about gettin it) and to tell u the truth its not that bad but they could ighly improve in customer satisfactrion, the device itself isn't that bad, but there isn't a store that gives free apps that are made for the archos, and it doesn't have many good games, when i got mine, the headphones were messed up, one of them was about half the langth of the right. the quality on the speaker is what you would expect from a portable device, but the sound when playing back on the tv is excellent. since everyone seems to keep going on about the iphone . ipod touch i'll defend the archos for a change.... the picture quality is miles better and on the ipods you cant record from the tv, which you can with the archos using the dvr station. superb bit of kit is this

Last time I had a Cowon it was back in the 256mb days, but that thing had amazing sound quality compared to any digital players of heard since. Plus, it came with hi-end headphones and nice cases..no accessories to buy. I'm not liking the interface I see on this thing, but hopefully their sound quality is still superior -- something that seems to be ignored these days. Even on the old unit, you could tweak everything, including the full EQ. No preset DSP bubble which can be hell on your songs.

get a twist tie and strip off some of the paper or plastic a smal pin or somethhing small enough like a thin wire your gonna need it to get to the reset button located on the side nearest the usb cable plugin there should be a small hole with the word reset next to it. stick the pin or thin wire in the hole and use it to depress the reset button hold it down for a few seconds then remove it. it should reboot and say its rebuilding the tracklist or something. its happened to me before too.

the nice thing about the zen is if your media player is dead and you dont want to wait to put songs on the sd card you can take it out and put it in an sd card slot on your computer or anyones computer with an sd card slot and you can charge it with anything that has a usb port even a motorola dvr which i have done a few times. so even if your on the go you can still charge up as long as you can find a usb port somewhere

Yes, it is glossy and it is somewhat fingerprint prone. I use it myself, but it wouldn't be much of a problem only if your hands aren't too dirty/sweaty lol If it bother's you, you could buy clix cover. I have two types of covers

I want a mp3player, which has a speaker. Is the iRiver e100 a good choice?? I've heard bad things about it. Is it really true that the songs arent in alfabetical order. I dont want an Ipod Nano, not because I cant efford it, but it has less functions and it is too pricy for what you get, and I dont want something that everybody already has.
