Not even close. Magic Johnson. Because he can play every position. Everyone embraces Jordan because he was the best at the peak of NBA popularity right when it started gearing its audience toward the hip-hop crowd (which was a mistake by the way)

I can go on and on with the great play when Bird/Magic played by many teams. I am simply amazed to this day by the will Magic/Bird had to win. It was about pride then. Jordan had this will to win. If only the talent and nba could go back to the(80's). None of the teams today could play against the Lakers, Celts, Pistons, Bulls back then. One man could never beat those teams. Bird/Magic and Jordan was 3 of the greatest i have ever seen. Lebron/Kobe have alot of talent and only time will tell.

jordan entered the league in mid 80's by his 3'rd yr. he was avg. 37pts per game, & in his 4th he was at 35 pts.unfortunatly he played in the 90's where they actualy knew how to play d.could u guys imagine if he entered in the late 70's and played through out all the 80's, he would b averaging 50pts,12rbs,8ast,4stl,3blks 4 his career against all these stars that didn't know how to play D.including ur Larry bird. and he would have every title in that decade.

4:06 (while michael cooper is literally crawling around on the floor looking for dj) bird and magic battling for position on the low block in the 84 finals. bird gets him on his hip, gets the dump in from dj, and hits a fade away with magic's hand in his face. although the nba has improved immensely the last couple years, it will never return to the golden age of the eighties.

Lebron and Kobe ain't got nothin' on Bird, Magic and Jordan. B/M/J were great because they were winners; and they absolutely, positively, refused to lose. I don't get that from LeBron and Kobe yet. Maybe they'll get there. They seem to like the celebrity more than the win.

oh ur right he gave 110% all the time,the play against the pacers in 92 playoffs where he dives 4 the ball smashes his face & comes back later incredible .but u said it ur self "one of the best" and in my own personal opinion he's 3 behind jordan & magic.probably saying this cause im a Bulls fan.don't 4get it was bird or magic that said "there's jordan & then the rest of us",i know bird said "that wasn't jordan that was god disguised as jordan".btw what the hell is stfu what does that stand 4.
