Speaking of ignorance, 87, how about knowing what you're talking about before running off at the mouth. We have an ALL VOLUNTEER military. There is no draft. Every soldier knows what could happen when they sign up to enter a branch of our armed forces. They just happen to believe in what they're doing. They're keeping the Islamic terrorists on THEIR soil, away from OURS. President Bush is to be commended for his brave decision in the face of morons who would surrender to those murderers.

You might think Obama is a joke, 87, but most Americans don't. The ones who voted for him don't. And the ones who didn't sure don't. We all know he's serious about his socialistic agenda. We also see now that he is backing away from his campaign promises. The 'change' you all bought into was total bs. The only thing that changed was the group of radicals who run the country are the same ones the Clintons dredged up from the depths. Every crook and criminal from then is back in power.

cont'd The 'American dream' is MUCH more than having money for retirement, bean. The American dream is freedom. Freedom from government oppression. Freedom from aggressors intruding into our lives from ANYwhere, including our own soil. Freedom to worship the God of the Bible without persecution. You need some honest history lessons if you are so deceived. It sounds like you've been drinking the koolaid the radical liberals have been drunk on for years.

If I understand you correctly, bean, you propose that Israel should become an Islamic nation. That not only is preposterous (foolish), it is simply not going to happen. ALL Israelis are welcome in the U.S., by the way. All Islamic terrorists are welcome too, if they wish to be taken into custody and deported. cont'd

What a joke. The only "traitor"s are the guy who sent 4,300 brave Americans to DIE for his LIE, and his next in line that outted a CIA agent. (THAT actually is Treason btw, and punishable by death) I suggest you study up before you spout your ignorant mouth off again, you could cram 1 million US soldiers (if we had that many) into Baghdad but it wouldnt provide security so long as psychotic islamists where willing to blow themselves and their neighbors up.

Don't see any deals or target areas for job creations yet. Cut or not cut is just a joke. Increasing tax on the rich is always a fairly tale. How do you identify loop holes to the rich that the average doesn't want a cut. It would be just any other fraud without fairly audited. American dreams are just everybody gets some equities for their retirements. Expensive health measures like right now, American gets only a dream. Non-profit infrastructure must be enforced to remove its speculation.

To access to the area to build peace over is to join Israel to Palestine. Take whoever doesn't want to stay there into USA. Israel adapting Islam is much more economical and they are more educated. They don't have to stay there if they are afraid. Terrorism is much easier to be handle with people of the area who can directly access to those terrorist seeding bed.

Hamas will never stop until they are destroyed or Israel is. Might as well get the inevitable over with and finish it now. America should stay out of this fight unless Iran gets involved.
By: treemania. on 02 Jan 09, 04:30:00
I understand what you're saying, it's a dilemna. But I feel, and this is just my opinion, that pre-emptive strikes will not fix the problem. In fact, Iran will eventually reject the extreme politics that it currently practices, as there educated youth will rise up. Attacking them now would only instill hatred into these young people, who are the future of Iran and the only real hope of having a peaceful Iran. I should point out too that I'm not American, I'm Australian.

But tree, Israel is being FORCED to use force. What would you do? What would you have them do? Wait until someone shoots poison gas or chemicals into their major cities, kills thousands or more, and then counter attack? I don't think that's intelligent at all. In fact, Israel is in the same boat we are. We can't afford to lose even one war. If we do, we're finished. NO one will come to our rescue, even if there's anything left of us. We MUST keep peace through strength.
By: david13395. on 02 Jan 09, 03:26:33
I hate to say it, but right before Iran gets a reactor up and running the fireworks will start.. Israel will not let Iran become a nucular power... If Obama does not back Israel he will dig his own grave.
By: treemania. on 02 Jan 09, 01:46:19
If Israel does lay waste to Iran, don't expect peace in the Middle East to happen anytime soon. I don't disagree that the US and Israel want a more peaceful world but if Israel uses force to "keep peace", I highly doubt there will be the kind of peace we all hope for in the middle east. Diplomacy must come first. You don't keep peace by blowing each others children up. That would only incite the enemy and give Iran all the more reason to arm themselves.

Obama is clueless. Our military can barely stomach his presence, after he gave the credit for our success in Iraq mostly to Islamists backing off. In truth, they cowered before our brave men and women. Obama is a traitor.
By: theRightizright. on 01 Jan 09, 16:08:12
I agree in part. Let Israel take care of Iran. They will become an island of glass in the desert if they keep threatening our ally. True, Iran has no nuclear weapons that we know of. They cannot be allowed to have them. Every peaceful nation on earth has an interest in preventing this from happening. The U.S. and Israel are the world leaders in keeping peace. The fools who criticize are no better than the aggressors who want to imprison free people everywhere.

By: treemania. on 29 Dec 08, 04:17:01
Attacking Iran will change nothing. It will only breed more hatred for the United States. Pre-emptive strikes are both unconstitutional and illegal in International Law (laws that the US helped write). Iran's population is young (2/3 are under the age of 30) and they are well educated. Yes, Ahmedinijad is a crook but give it time and the young people will take hold of there country. Iran has no nuclear weapons, the Russians had heaps, there is no need to fear. Rattle there cage and expect hell.
