Yoshiki is such a great artist. Toshi isn't singing to his full potential though. The last live is his best vocal preformance. This isn't their traditional speed/prog/symphonic metal. It's a little more mainstream than their other titles.

Agreed. I loved X Japan for a few years now. It IS good they are getting known over here though, hell, they keep it up, we might see their CD over there on common store shelves. Either way, I agree, I never played Rockband or Guitar Hero. X Japan has got a bit heavier since they got back, but hey, I still love Toshi's voice. He still can sing it.

#5 - Indeed the effects may not be what they are today, but for 1976, when most of these were being developed by the director and his team, to have proprietary technology was just completely unheard of and truly ground breaking. Not to mention that we wouldn't have the effects today if it wasn't for Lucas' leap of faith in this department. Unfortunately the subsequent trilogy became an exercise in effects muscle-flexing.

i think Rocky should have concentrated more on tactics and actual sparring than domestic tasks such as clearing snow from the pathway and doing some routine trimming of hedges, trees etc. Also, some of those trees looked quite old so i wonder if he had planning permission to remove them.

I know that Yoshiki definately had influence on the music that was written, especially the lyrics. He may even have been the main composer..I would believe that. But I think it was hide that gave the music the edge I really like (I don't care for Tears, and I've always figured Tears was Yoshiki.) But I also think I am more of a hide fan than an X fan, and the stuff I really liked from X was always the stuff that showed clearly hide's influence.

I definitely believe that even a legend band deserves different charateristics and spirits during different period of time since they grow up with time as well, just simply like us. No offense to Yoshiki, but What I'm trying to say is I feel this song has Hide written all over it, I don't know why. Perhaps because Yoshiki use an unused guitar track by Hide, and that has become the basic of the music. Then Yoshiki wrote the lyrics of this song.
