Tidus and Auron ...

Tidus and Auron disappear for different reasons. Tidus was an illusion, Auron was a real person from the real timeline who was killed by Lady Yunalesca. Because of the promises he made to Braska and Jecht, he clung to the world of the living and became an "unsent." He then traveled to dream-Zanarkand, with the help of Sin, to watch over Tidus. When Auron disappears at the end of the game, it is because he is allowing Yuna to "send" him (he has kept his promises, and wants to finally rest.)

You're right about Tidus, but Auron was an unsent, not a dream. Auron went to dream Zanarkand to watch over Tidus, but he himself was not part of dream Zanarkand. So, Auron and Tidus disappeared for different reasons: Auron disappeared because his promises had been kept, so he allowed Yuna to "send" him. If he had wanted to, he could have stayed around like other unsent, but he wanted to rest.

This STILL makes me tear up. THIS is what video games are missing. I don't even particularly enjoy video games, but I feel the merit in this game like that of reading an emotionally provocative novel. This video game is worthy of being called beautiful.

i think they should have never made final fantasy X-2 because X-2 kinda kill the ending of X. Because X left you in a what happen next giving the player to decide and think what happen after all of this letting you decide what happen next wich is a really good ending. Don't know if ya'll think that too but that what i think.

The most meanest ending game ever... I loved the game but hated the end. Poor Yuna is too punished... Even on FFX2 before Tidus recovery, she suffers a lot (aeons, old faces, etc)

OMG! Fianl Fantasy X is the best game ever! it has a sad ending though D; I'm such a retard, as soon as i saw Tidus like, die, i couldn't stop crying.. i'm still crying right now.. D; i want him to still be alive, and Yuna and him to be together.. D; anywho, best game in history
