One for the NES that I grew up playing and loved was Gun.Smoke. It's a western-themed game, though, so you're a cowboy, not a soldier. As for the Genesis... I guess T2: The Arcade Game is the closest thing to a first or third person shooter that I can think of, but, it's not one of my favorites.

Not sure if you ever played them but you should try out Shining Force 1 and 2 for Gen. I have always liked those ones. Masters of Monsters is good but only if you play with friends. There is a game I have been trying to find but I can't remember its name ( Making it difficult for me to find it ) combat is turn based. You have X amount of guys you can control.. you can semi explore planets,spacestations, and fight in space.. just cant remember its name..

It's a first person shooting game and is based on the first Rambo movie. I sold my original Sega Genesis back in 1995 or 1996. I bought another one about 5 years ago and have been looking for the game (Rambo) but haven't been able to find it yet.

Aye! I have the first Half-Life for the PC. -Great- game. No real interest in Team Fortress or the online for Half-Life or Unreal Tournament. I don't really enjoy competitive multiplayer; deathmatches and such. I'm much more into cooperative gameplay.

Well, from Amazon sellers, technically, so much cheaper than the list price on Amazon. You should definitely check out The Pumpkin Karver and the Camp Blood Trilogy. I agree that the Halo games are pretty overrated, they get way more attention and hype than they deserve. Guitar Hero II was awesome, though now it's fairly outdated compared to Rock Band. I think that Guitar Hero III is entirely overrated, I'm not much of a fan of that game.

GAAWW!!! Now you're making me hungry :P Great video :) When it comes to the "Riki-Oh" movie, that's a movie that ALWAYS slips my mind. I've never seen it, but from what I've heard it's a very gory movie. It's based of the manga-comic with the same name. Maybe I should do a "Awareness"-video on that one :) See, you remind me aswell ^^ I heard that they did a sequal to it a couple of years ago, but I don't know if they ever released it in NA or Europe. I have not, never been a huge fan of pancakes, but my knowledge of pancakes is fairly limited, as I didn't know pancakes were different between the US and Europe. If I get the chance, though, I'll give potato pancakes a try. Potato bread's awesome, why not potato pancakes? Haha! -Sixty X Celph

I take some of what i said back I played the game again and just turned off the console Now The vampires are easy to kill with standred weapons if you know how to do it *strategy i made up* and you do have to THINK to accomplish some levels or make your own way through them not all diff paths are stopped by boundaries but i managed to choose all the hard paths although It is a game ill play again it is still not higher then a 4.8 out of ten. But i gave it a second chance.

The man point is their is to much trial and error the vampires are overpowered or to fast your start weapons suck boss battles are to robotic and obvisous aside from a few. The tutorials do NOTHING to help you. And the only useful weapons are the shotgun and sniper rifle which are taken away from you. And it sends you through the same levels backwards intensity is fun until it becomes such a pain and repetitive process.

I think the game would be great with a few tweaks to be honest and a tad more action I know its stealth based but even stealth games need action. Like thief deadly shadows that's all stealth and that's one of my favorite games But you have a chance to survive if your seen and so on their is a lot of problems with vampire rain.

I agree with you that people should check a game out for themselves rather than simply taking mine or anyone else's word for it, but they can't do that if they listen to you and bypass it completely.

I am just trying to tell them what the game is because as you said you aren't getting the game you think your getting and a pretty good percent of the world dislikes what they get so they need to go exam more then what you say about it before making a decision. I wish i had time to explain this better but My friend is in the hospital.

How you mentioned on "just because someone says to not like it - to not like it" well, I didn't know Bomberman: Act Zero did so bad, yet I really like the game. I played it more then once and i get pretty far in it And I am a fan of stealth games splinter cell even thief deadly shadows but this game is HORRIBLE and unrealistic During stealth if you are spotted you do what any human would do *drastic measures* I was able to kill 3 vampires in one map with a machine gun because i was ALLLLLLL the way accross the map. That is sad. no fight

But this game is extremely hard and not newbie friendly...i tried the demo,i think this KIND of game is really rare for its wtf difficulty. I found this in wikipedia: "Vampire Rain is a stealth-action game similar in nature to the Splinter Cell or Metal Gear Solid series." My final thoughts:This game is only for hard-core gamers or pro gamers due to the difficulty

Haha, well, it's not Sam Fisher, but it shares many of the same game mechanics that are in Splinter Cell. And you're more often than not avoiding the Nightwalkers, though there are several instances where you are indeed stalking and killing them.

Hell yeah! I agree with you. I played VR and I really like it. Most of the people that played it said they hated it. Well thats because they think you go around shooting and end up dying.
