I hope director Martin Scorcese does a great documentary on George. He did it with The Last Waltz with the Band & Shine A Light with the Stones. The Bangladesh concert is his finest live performance as a solo artist.

As funky as any "disco" song, eh? Serious groove... As with so much with any of The Beatles, this was an event that happened ONCE- it wasn't shoved out on the road for profit the way so much in the music biz usually is... Brilliant... Hare Hare...

Using two drummers did give him a bigger sound, but it also allowed them to create a more intricate, polyrhythmic groove, like the Dead and the Allman Bros, with their two drummers. One drummer can play more of a straight backbeat, while the other can play fills and accents and push and pull at the beat to create more tension, and sometimes, more forward momentum

This time of year always puts me in the mind of the Beatles, partly because of the anniversary of George's death... But also because of the Beatles Anthology documentary that aired over T'giving weekend in '95. Then, after the extended, 10-hour version was issued on VHS, I got into the habit of watching it about once every other year, always starting T'giving weekend. So, playing the music George, and the Beatles, have been part of my "holiday-season tradition" for several years now.

What a rousing, spirited performance this is. One of my all-time favorite George tunes Remember, Wednesday, Nov 30, will be the seven-year anniversary of George's death. Still on our minds, George

What is it, about this man George Harrison? Why do we love him? Was it his 'realness'? Wish I had known him.

the best version of "wah wah" ever. I always have said that George was born to be concert-man. he could perform songs even better than in the recorded versions. and Ringo just smashing those drums so funky!!! my favourite guitarist was and always will be George. oh yeah and do not forget legendary person A.K.A slowhand - Clapton. both are legends and greatest friends. fucking awesome. FUCKING FANTASTIC!!! this song has heavy balls... long live George!!!

I love this song, it's like a constant orgasm XD Most songs have the action die down eventually but this song just stays at the top. Love Harrison.
