Sometime this fall the Supreme Court will be reviewing Entertainment Merchants Association (EMA) vs. Schwarzenegger, challenging a piece of 2005 legislation signed into law by the California governor restricting the sale of violent games to consumers over the age of 18.

As you may be aware, the state of California passed a rather controversial law back in 2005 that banned the sale of violent video games to minors. It was meant to go into effect in 2006. The law has since been overturned in the courts, but has been going through the appeals process and is headed to the Supreme Court.
